Sunita Finlease fintech partnership FAQs
What does Sunita Finlease do?
Sunita Finlease Ltd. is an RBI-registered NBFC based in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. We collaborate with fintech businesses through digital lending and Lending Service Provider arrangements.
What do you mean by NBFC-as-a-Service?
We use this term to describe a structured collaboration between SFL as the regulated lender and a fintech partner contributing agreed services such as customer acquisition, technology or servicing. Responsibilities are defined in the partnership agreement. SFL retains its applicable lending and regulatory responsibilities.
Which fintech partners do you currently work with?
Our active LSPs include Refyne and ORO. Our current LSP and digital lending app disclosures are available on the SFL website.
Which products are covered?
Current programmes include Earned Wages Access, personal loans and bridge loans. Availability and terms depend on the relevant programme and borrower eligibility. Other proposals are evaluated separately.
What kind of fintech partners are you interested in?
We welcome businesses with a clearly defined customer need, credible distribution, capable promoters and a workable operating model. We assess the proposed product, technology, customer servicing, risk controls and commercial viability.
Can an early-stage fintech approach SFL?
Yes. Please explain your development stage, customer access, proposed lending journey and pilot requirements. An initial discussion does not constitute approval or a commitment to lend.
What should we submit for an initial discussion?
Please share your legal entity name, website or app, promoter background, product, target customers, operating locations, proposed ticket size and tenure, expected monthly volumes, existing lender relationships and the role expected from SFL.
Include a brief description of your technology, underwriting support, collections and grievance handling. Do not include borrower personal data in the initial enquiry.
Who makes the lending decision?
Loan approval and terms remain subject to SFL’s applicable credit policy and authorised approval process. Technology integration or a partnership agreement does not guarantee approval of individual loans.
What are your loan limits, pricing and partnership charges?
These are determined for the relevant approved product and partnership. Borrower terms are disclosed through the applicable Key Facts Statement and loan documents. Partnership commercials are agreed separately in writing.
How much lending capacity can SFL provide?
Capacity is assessed for each proposed programme, taking account of product fit, funding, risk and operational readiness. Please share your expected volumes and proposed pilot requirement for discussion.
What reporting and reconciliation will be required?
The reporting schedule is agreed during onboarding. It should provide sufficient information to reconcile loan disbursements, repayments, outstanding balances, fees, settlements, overdue accounts, complaints and relevant regulatory reporting. Data formats, access, responsibilities and exception handling are defined before launch.
Can a fintech start operating immediately after signing?
Launch follows the required approvals, documentation, integration, testing and operational readiness checks. The implementation schedule is agreed for the specific programme.
