Introduction: In India, Aadhar Card is issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India[UIDAI] on behalf of the government. Step 1: Open the official website page of DigiLocker at https://digilocker.gov.in/ - click on the 'Sign-In' button.
Step 2: Log in to your DigiLocker account- through your 12-digit Aadhar number. Step 3: Click on Verify - to receive an OTP in your registered mobile number.
Step 4: Verify OTP- enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and click 'Verify OTP'.
Step 5: Download the e-aadhar card- from the 'Issued Document' page e-aadhar card can be downloaded using the 'Save' icon.
The 5 steps to download your e-aadhar card from Umang Mobile Application: UMANG is an action taken by the government to introduce digital governance. Umang App is developed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) & the National e-Governance Division (NeGD).
Step 1: Download and open the Umang App - to log in or register.
Step 2: Click “Aadhaar Card” under the ""all services"" tab.
Step 3: Click “View Aadhaar Card From DigiLocker” - the DigiLocker home page will appear.
